Phenomenology of Psychedelic Experience: An Attempt to Open up a New Research Area

Since the 1990s there has been an increased scientific interest in psychedelics, their mode of action and their therapeutic potential. In Addition, there seems to have been an increased philosophical interest in the subject and in particular in psychedelic experiences in recent years. From the phenomenological side, however, there are very few relevant studies on this subject area. Therefore, in this article, an attempt is made to open up a new field of research for phenomenology.
